Lean On Me Doula Services

Postpartum Doula Services for busy moms and dads

With a doula guiding you through a postpartum experience, you can enjoy this special season of transition.

Ideally it's best to plan for your postpartum time before a baby is born so that as a new mom and dad, you can feel relieved knowing that I will show up on day one with that extra set of hands and compassionate support you need and deserve.

Having a baby is hard work

From healing, adjusting, and navigating all the "new" in parenthood, having a baby is a lot. While it’s true that babies don't come with a manual, there is another truth you hear less often: pregnancy and birth don’t come with a manual, either.

Pregnancy is one of the largest changes your body can go through, culminating in a birth that you can’t predict. The process can be daunting, especially since it comes at a time when you may be physically exhausted. Having someone to walk you through this stage with knowledge and experience can relieve stress and help you move toward parenthood confidently.

And lets not forget the dads who are trying their best to do all the right things while unsure of how to do them.

I will hold your hand through it all...

Doulas are the people who hold your hand through all the unknowns, stresses, and joys of childbearing and childrearing.

Our job is to help walk with you from pregnancy through postpartum as you become a parent.

Pre and Postnatal Nutrition

Pregnancy is a significant and intense undertaking for your body, which makes it incredibly important to make sure your body is prepared for both your sake and your baby’s.

We know the importance of eating healthily, but even the healthiest of diets can lack vital nutrients.

Prenatal supplements are designed to help fill any gaps in your nutrition, specifically when you are expecting. Ideally, you’ll want to start these when you start thinking about getting pregnant.

Meology Prenatal is the best nutrition for Hopeful, Soon-to-Be, and New Moms

What My Clients Say About Me...

I was Jennifer's client for ten weeks starting when my son was three weeks old, and once I went back to work she returned to help my husband two days a week during his parental leave.

We love Jennifer! She's personable, empathetic, and no-nonsense - a natural doula. My husband and I were both pretty clueless about infant care when our son was born, and Jen was an unflagging source of moral and practical support. She put the baby down for countless naps, cooked meals, organized baby stuff, did laundry, offered helpful tips and recommendations, etc. Before I was even officially her client, she put me in touch with a wonderful lactation consultant when I developed mastitis. Without their help, I think I would have given up on breastfeeding a long time ago (my son is now a nursing champ).

Being able to relax and enjoy these first few months with my baby has meant the world to me. If we ever have another, I'm letting her know the MINUTE we find out the due date to make sure we get on her schedule!
